Melbourne Museum, home of Horridus the world’s most complete Triceratops, brings dinosaurs to life in this scientifically accurate experience from a long-extinct world.
Available for both Apple and Android devices, and designed for ages 8 and up, this app requires the Museums Victoria book Triceratops: A Natural History to activate the AR experience and bring Horridus into your home!

For the best AR experience
- Unmute your device and turn up the audio
- Turn your device to landscape
- Hold your device about chest height to scan the image
- If you don't like the angle or scale you are viewing, hit the Re-scan button and scan the skull image again
- If the animations start to partially disappear, you may have moved in too close. Try moving back slightly and you should see the full animation again.
- If you want to get in close to the dinosaurs in order to see more detail, pull your fingers apart to zoom in or pinch them together to zoom out

- Android devices with a front and back-facing camera, using Android 10.0 and later.
