Abstract

Twelve species of shallow-water pycnogonid belonging to nine genera are represented in this report. Specimens were collected from the Great Australian Bight, southern Australia, at depths of 1–180 m. Two new species in the family Callipallenidae are described: Pseudopallene chevron sp. nov. and Parapallene gowlettae sp. nov.
