This resource supports students, individuals and community groups to research, produce and share a short digital history about a person or event.
Digital history is a form of digital storytelling - a story presented in a digital format. Digital histories use historical inquiry to gather information. This means you investigate the past and tell a story through the use of primary sources such as interviews and related evidence like photos, letters, objects and official documents.
In this activity students will
- Learn about digital storytelling.
- Use primary sources to investigate the past.
- Watch videos of digital history projects.
- Work collaboratively to research and edit a digital history project.
