Scienceworks is bursting with things to challenge curious minds of all ages.
Victoria’s leading science and technology museum houses a myriad of marvels, with gigantic machines, an electrifying Lightning Theatre, the century-old Pumping Station and Melbourne Planetarium – all under the grand arc of the West Gate Bridge.
On this tour, you’ll explore the precinct with your knowledgeable guide and encounter some of Scienceworks’ treasures including the world’s oldest surviving first-generation electronic computer, the da Vinci Surgical System (the first ever used in Australia), a 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite, and so much more.
After the tour, return to your favourite galleries and spaces at your leisure, enjoy refreshments in the cafe and don’t forget to visit the famous Museums Victoria Store for unique gifts, local brands, and souvenirs.
