Now or Never, the City of Melbourne’s multi-award-winning festival of sound, art and technology returns to the Royal Exhibition Building and Melbourne Museum from 20 to 23 August this year, with the full 12-day program lighting up the city over two weekends.
Under the curatorial theme A Whole New World, the 2026 program explores cultural shifts driven by immersive technologies, AI and digital storytelling.
With 250 locally and internationally renowned artists, creatives and change makers exploring the connection between installation and performance, technology and ritual, and reality and imagination throughout 150 events and activations.
